The duration of permanent makeup varies, but generally it can last 1-3 years. The duration depends on many factors, including skin type, age, sun exposure, and post-procedure care.

Pain is individual and the procedure can be described as uncomfortable rather than painful. My experience has shown that a large number of clients fall asleep.

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood thinners such as aspirin before the procedure. It is also recommended to avoid strong sun exposure and tanning beds for a few days before the procedure.

After permanent makeup, there may be swelling and redness, which will subside within a few days. Crusts may form, but they should not be scraped off. The color of the permanent makeup may be more intense at first, but this will become more natural within a few weeks.
After the procedure, you should avoid strong sun exposure, saunas, swimming pools and intense exercise for about a week.

Most professionals recommend a follow-up treatment approximately 4-6 weeks after the initial treatment to ensure optimal results. After that, a touch-up is usually needed every 1-2 years, depending on how the pigment fades over time.

Permanent makeup can be done during pregnancy, but it’s important to note that hormonal changes may affect how well the pigment settles and how long the results last.

The procedure is not allowed for high-risk pregnancies and is not recommended during the first trimester, when the fetus is still developing, or towards the end of pregnancy, as lying in one position for a long time may be uncomfortable.
